DIY Dollar Store Loom
This DIY is so easy, so cheap, and so rewarding!
Materials:
- dollar store canvas
- nails
- hammer
- scissors
- string
- wool/yarn
Steps:
- Remove canvas from the wood frame
- Hammer in nails every centimeter along the top and bottom of the frame
- Wind string in a zig-zag manner around the nails, making sure to keep the string quite taut
- Use whatever wool or yarn you'd like and start weaving!
There are tons of YouTube tutorials on how to weave and how to make different patterns in your weaving. It's also fun to experiment with different yarns. You can get completely different looks depending on whether you use super thick yarn or really thin yarn.
