Getting Cozy With Migration

In my opinion, the best part of these cold months is curling up on the couch with a hot cup of tea (or coffee), lighting a candle, and listening to music or watching the rain fall outside. Nothing can beat the coziness you feel while doing all of those things. When I was in Migration last week I picked out a few things to help take getting cozy to the next level.

I love me a good mug. Sturdy, ceramic, handmade, and a decent size are the requirements for the perfect mug and all of those boxes are ticked with this mug by Cathy Terepocki Ceramics. The combination of the pastel, the gold, and the ceramic make all my mug dreams come true and even when it isn't being used it looks beautiful sitting on the shelf.

I also love me a good cuppa. And that cup is made all the better when it's full of good things for my body! Nettle & Co. is a Vancouver Island based company that creates herbal products using herbs they harvest themselves. Each tea blend is made with different combinations of herbs to create unique flavours with different benefits for your body and your mind.

If you're going to drink tasty tea from a gorgeous mug then you're going to need the perfect coaster to rest it on - these West Coasters from Studio Robazzo are the answer. Made from driftwood collected from the beaches of Vancouver Island and treated with natural mineral oil and beeswax to prevent stains or damage, these coasters complete your cozy hot drink set up.

Last, but most certainly not least, is a candle. I have always been a huge scented candle lover but as I've recently started learning about all the bad stuff in them I've been trying to pay more attention to the ones I buy. These candles from Salt Spring Island Candle Co are made from GMO-free soy wax and are scented with pure essential oils and natural fragrance oils. There wasn't a scent I didn't like but yoga was by far my favourite - it's a rustic incensey smell that just epitomizes a cozy day.
