Hide & Seek Coffee

Hide and Seek is no longer just a game for kids who need something to do on rainy days. Found on the main drag of Oak Bay Ave, Hide + Seek Coffee is a perfect place to “hide out and seek friends” while enjoying a kick a$$ cup of coffee.

While scrolling through Instagram looking for small businesses in Victoria, I came across an account full of bright pictures and great branding. With the promise of imminent coffee, I knew this place was going to be a gem

Owned and operated by Jesse and Jamie, a husband-wife duo, Hide + Seek Coffee has been a dream a long time in the making. After months of planning and construction, their doors officially opened just over a week and a half ago. And let me tell you, it was worth the wait!

Big windows, white walls, delicious (homemade) food, and strong coffee. What more could you possibly need?! Hide + Seek is well on their way to becoming the go to place in the ‘hood. Their friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, reasonable prices and local charm make them the only coffee shop worth visiting on the strip.

One of the main things I love about this place is that it radiates supportive vibes. Whatever they don’t create themselves they bring in from other local makers. The donuts come from Empire donuts, the loaves of bread come from Crust Bakery, they carry mugs made by a local artist and the coffee is roasted here in Victoria! So no matter what you get when you’re in there, you’re supporting local businesses!
